"CONCV / CONVX" is a work built
around definitions of the self in the context of the unfamiliar.
The brooding introspective quality defined in this piece is
an inquiry into the isolated and withdrawn spirit of a soul
endeavouring a taciturn manifestation of a mind that, paradoxically,
seeks an extroverted state of representation. Mired by the abstraction of the physical, it challenges the
very territories it threatens to derail - failure or success
is an arbitrary resolve. Living in simulacra, as Jean Baudrillard
has suggested, our experiences are nothing but hyperrealities
governed by our mind's eye. The "real" we are living is more
real than it appears to be.
